Sometimes I’m nice, jovial, laid back, refined, profound, and thoughtful.

Sometimes I’m mean, angry, spun up, vulgar, shallow, and inconsiderate.

Up is Down, Black is White...

Up is down, black is white, Republicans are Democrats, Democrats are Socialists and the American people are left holding the bag! Before you say anything, I know…the “Socialist” title has been overused and misused and now doesn’t hold its original connotations. I really should have used the term Fascist. That makes for a way better fit. I could go on (just trust me on this one), but I digress. I think I should provide a little background before I proceed. I subscribe to a news sight that, throughout the day, will email articles that have been collected from all over the net. Now I know what you’re thinking, but these articles are not solely slanted in either direction. I’ll receive links from Fox News, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, CNN and from several (too many to name) reputable blogs. Normally it will be a grab bag of articles (pro dem. agenda, pro rep. agenda…and sometimes pro anarchy). Very rarely will I get consistent articles with similar slants. Today happened to be pro Republican day. The first article didn’t really surprise me. It was a run down of the President’s speech from the previous night. While I’m glad that I now know exactly what he said (I couldn’t bring myself to watch it), it didn’t help to curb the anger I feel towards the whole purpose of the speech. I don’t care what you say, this speech was nothing but a grand standing publicity stunt. We’ve known for about a week that President Obama was going to send more troops! Why the hell didn’t he send them when he finally made up his damn mind? Obama is the President of the United States! You make the decision to send troops and you send them. Then you go on national television and explain your reasoning. You don’t make the decision, let it leak out for a week, and then publicly announce the call! It was nothing more than a publicity stunt……ok, ok…..Lets move on.
The second link I received was an article talking about how Senator Barbara Boxer wants the Hackers, who were involved with the supposed ‘Climategate’ scandal, to face criminal charges. After I finished the article, I had to put down my phone and take a step back. This thing was really pulling me in opposite directions. First and foremost I believe in the rule of law. These Hackers broke the law when they did what they do best. They broke the law, and they should face the consequences. But I believe that what they found overrides (in importance) their law breaking actions. While they should still face charges, I believe that we really need to be paying more attention to the possibility that some in the “Global Warming” (yes I know they changed it to “Climate Change”) crowd have been ignoring/hiding data that could potentially disprove their theories. Is that criminal...maybe, but think about it! The United States government is prepared to spend billions if not trillions on something that might not even exist. Where the hell is the Consumer Guide? They sure as hell will jump down the Chinese’s throats over a children’s toy that cost $29.95, but I haven’t heard a peep over this potential trillion dollar scam! While I want to congratulate Senator Boxer on her steadfast attention to the law, I want her to realize there is a bigger issue at stake.
The last article I read (because it was the straw that broke the camel's back), was from a blog. It informed me that the President’s speech (which I avoided like the plague) had bumped “A Charlie Brown Christmas.” You know…I was willing to work with a disappointing speech. I was even willing to work with the whole “Climategate” scandal. But I am not willing to work with the bumping of “A Charlie Brown Christmas!” That is stepping way over the line. Now…It’s on like Donkey Kong!!! While it is unprecedented (ha, ha…I just stole Prezbo’s word), I think we need to start talking impeachment!! I know it’s a bit early. I know we waited for both Clinton and Bush’s (numero dos) second terms to have this discussion, but neither had to balls to something on this level of scandal. You can’t do a thing like that! I looked it up. It’s in the constitution. “No President shall, at any time, cause a disruption in the transmission of ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’.” It’s all there, black and white, clear as crystal! And for this, you get nothing! You lose! Good day, sir! You know…I…I can’t even talk about this anymore! Good day...........I SAID GOOD DAY!!!!
