    So I’m doing my normal Monday ritual (watching TNA/WWE wrestling and catching up with the day’s news stories), and I came upon an article that is asking if one of Prezbo’s recent jokes was offensive. The joke I’m talking about is the one where he warned the Jonas Brothers to stay away from his daughters. It went something like this,

“Jonas Brothers are here, they’re out there somewhere. Sasha and Malia are huge fans, but boys, don’t get any ideas. Two words for you: predator drones. You will never see it coming. You think I’m joking?”

    Really? Is this what we’re going to discuss? I mean, lets gets serious! Do we not have enough stuff to bitch about? I can come up with a few dozen topics that should register, on the radar, way before this joke. Well, lets back up here. I fully endorse the use of predator drones when it comes to the Jonas Brothers. Oh and understand this endorsement comes way before they could cross the line with the first daughters. But this is a vendetta subject for another day. Wait…where was I? Oh yeah! Was the President’s joke offensive? How about this?!?! GET THE FUCK OVER IT!!!! We have so much more to be pissed about. How about healthcare, immigration, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan…..THE FUCKING OIL SPILL? Anyone…..anyone? Bueller? Bueller? Come on people! Oh, and for all of those folks who are screaming “the Dems would be all over Bush if he said something like that,” my response is…well, yeah they would be. And you know something…I’d tell them the same thing! To me, it was a funny joke. Are there grounds to be upset with the joke? Well…maybe. But let us take up a grievance after we deal with the other 743 more important issues that we have yet to address with him.
    I’ll admit that I’ve probably overreacted. I’ll also admit that my overreaction was a tad bit on the vulgar side. I’m pretty sure it’s because I’ve got a lot of pent up frustration in regards to some of the articles I’ve read lately. Well, it’s not so much the articles as it’s the comments that people have left. About a week ago….well, maybe it was two weeks ago, I was reading an article. I can’t remember what it was about, but I do remember the comments that the readers left behind. They were just straight up spiteful. They had no constructive criticism. They were all just hateful. Now before you even think about bringing up hate speech, you might just want to back away from the computer and walk away. We are not going to touch that. My complaint lies in the fact that there is so much material to work with, but these candidates for post birth abortions can’t seem to put the puzzle pieces together. These are the same people that like to bitch about how the Libs/Dems are always going to the hate speech claim. Well what the hell do you expect when you spew such garbage? Lets quit talking about how the President might not be a natural born citizen (because we are never going to get anywhere with that), and lets start calling him to the mat for the issues that we actually can prove.

NOTE: I already know that there are brilliant arguments out there. In fact, I’ve read several articles that have very well constructed and well researched arguments. But you know…if I acknowledged that, from the beginning, what would I have to bitch about?

NOTE III: I ramble & have shoddy grammar. I’ve made peace with both. Maybe it’s about time you do the same. Just let it go. You’ll live a longer & healthier life if you do.
